House Bill 388: Protecting Ohio Patients from Surprise Medical Charges
On January 7, 2021, Governor DeWine signed House Bill 388 into law. This law primarily focuses on protecting patients from out-of-network provider charges. Other states are beginning to enact similar transparency legislation as well.
